Wednesday, December 20th, 2006 Hey everyone, we're back from tour and that pretty much closes out the year 2006 for The Changes! Thanks so much to everyone who came to see us play, bought or listened to our CD, or who we made friends with this year. Check out Rob's tour journal on our myspace page for a more detailed look at our tour. 2007 holds many exciting things in store for us. In January we'll be heading West for some shows, it's our first time so we are very excited about that! Then we are looking into a more formal West coast tour this Spring as well as our long-promised trip over to Europe. Stay tuned to this site for more details. Until then, happy new new year! Sunday, December 10th, 2006 Vote for "Today Is Tonight" in WXRT's 2006 Best Albums poll! #3 in Underrated's top 25 albums of 2006 .... Monday, December 4th, 2006 Hey there....I'm sitting in a recording studio in New York. We stayed here an extra two days to do a little recording. So far so good! The shows with plus/minus went great. Great guys and I loved watching them play every night. The tour with them ended on a great note with a kick ass show at the Knitting Factory in NYC. Tomorrow we meet up with the boys from Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin for a trip down the east coast and back through the freezing Midwest. This marks the end of our touring plans for 2006 so be sure to make these shows if you can. Early tentative plans for '07 include a trip out West and a trip to Europe! Stay tuned for more info soon.
In other news our live in studio session airs this Wednesday on World Cafe Live. Be sure to check that out....until then, stay warm.
Tuesday, November 14th, 2006 Hey everyone, we're back from tour. It was grand! We're taking a brief break and then it's back on the road with +/- at the end of the month, followed by shows with Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin out East and down South into December. Check the tour section for more info, shows are being added daily. On November 25th we'll be back at Schubas for the first time since last year for two shows (one early 18+ show and one late 21+ show). Go to the Schubas web site for tickets and more info. This morning we were featured on Chicago NPR's "Eight Forty-Eight" show...have a listen.
Tuesday, November 7th, 2006 CMJ was a blast! Check out this nice little write up for confirmation... Monday, October 30th, 2006 Saturday night we said a tearful goodbye to Tally Hall and now we're back in Chicago for a brief moment. Tomorrow it's back to New York for the second leg of our tour. CMJ this week should be quite an adventure - we are playing 6 times in 4 days! In other news, GQ says "Today Is Tonight" is what you should be listening to this Fall....we agree!
Thursday, October 26th, 2006 Greetings from somewhere outside of Philly...the tour with Tally Hall is going wonderful. What wonderful lads they are. Everyone we've met has been super nice and it's been a blast to play our songs for crowds of new people. This is really just the start....check our tour dates section as we just added a bunch of more shows including a run of dates in late November with +/- . Oh, and thanks to everyone for making our record release show at Double Door last week so amazing. See you soon...
